Community activities Worked as a Program Director of a workshop focusing on poetry and the performing arts called The Words of the Streets Theater serving young people of the Daly City area during the summer of 2005.

The Americorps Program at City College of San Francisco helps students in their quest to achieve their goals in the field of Child Development. Over four hundred volunteer hours have been successfully completed and in return I received an educational college grant.

Received a Volunteer of the Session award for the middle school Saturday program at Real Options for City Kids.
Certification Pediatric First Aid and Adult First Aid
Completed training on cardiopulmonary resuscitation and emergency cardiac care and first aid.
Interests and activities Attended a Responsive Classroom Workshop covering a variety of topics on how to integrate the teaching of academic and social skills, and set clear, meaningful boundaries for student behavior.
