Served as Executive consultant for the non-profit Marin Programs for Mental Recovery. Substantially expanded funding for this mental health facility, doubled grant funding, acquired state licensing, negotiated managed care contracts including major contracts with United Behavioral Healthcare and Managed Health Network and increased occupancy in the program. Managed and developed a psychiatric program at Washington Hospital, Fremont, CA as Program Administrator with Horizon Mental Health Management and launched a new Geriatric Partial Hospitalization Program. Recruited physicians and nurses, supervised a staff of 54 with nurse managers, developed capital and operating budgets, acquired county contracts and obtained state licensing. Increased revenues by 200% for Centralink and The Institute for Behavioral Healthcare by executing marketing campaigns to attract additional corporations, government agencies and healthcare providers to sponsor and participate in these organizations conferences.
