This is the comment from a representative of the Boston Archdiocese's Catholic Charities office. I cannot believe what a bunch of motherfucking stupid assholes these people are.
I am a victim of abuse by a priest. I can forgive the man because he is mentally diseased. I cannot do the same for the Church. They made conscious and calculated decisions to hush the victims and move the predators around. I walked away from the Church because they have done nothing but throw money at the problem. They paid off the victims, whether in private or ordered by the court, but have done NOTHING to resolve the problem. The Pope, the supposed "leader" of the Church never apologized for the acts perpetrated on the weakest and most vulnerable of his flock.
The most difficult part of dealing with all of this has been my parents. They have chosen the Church over their child.
I wish for nothing more than the complete and absolute collapse of the RC Church. They should be dragged from their hypocritical thrones and crucified for what they have allowed to happen.
