I'm an excellent pianist with over 25 years of local experience as a theatre pianist, cabaret accompanist, wedding and event musician, provider of background music in restaurants and clubs, and more.
Well-versed in all genres and styles of music, I can play Classical, Jazz, Broadway, Pop and anything and everything in between. Personable, professional, frindly and flexible, I play in a style that's light, elegant, rhythmic, fun, melodic - sometimes improvisational - but always musical.
For the past 15 years, I have also enjoyed singing and playing standards, show music and other nostalgia at local assisted-living communities for seniors and folks with Alzheimers and other memory issues, and I continue to find it thoroughly rewarding.
As a result of my work with ailing seniors, I've come to realize that my music can be very healing. With that in mind, I would also very much like the opportunity to extend this work experience further by playing music in some capacity for young children.
