Excellent housesitter/petsitter available starting April 19I am a Jungian coach, teacher, writer, and speaker who had been living in Washington D.C. and has relocated to the Bay area. My transition includes housesitting and petsitting. I do both short-term and long-term sitting. I am available any time beginning April 19.
I am a cat and dog lover (with just a little more affinity to cats), and pet "owners", when they return, always love the way their pets are. I would be delighted to housesit for you. I have done so in Berkeley, in Oakland, in SF, and in Santa Cruz. I can supply references. I have sat over a dozen times so far during the past year, and I have been asked back at more than one place.
I am relatively quiet, meditate daily, do not drink or smoke, and rarely entertain guests (and then only to talk). I'm focused on writing my book on trends in the American collective unconscious. I want to get a goodly amount of writing done, so I'm looking for something fairly quiet, without a lot of distractions (that is, from people; distractions from animals are fine!). My apartment in Washington was large with a few fine things in it, so I'm used to careful attention and respect for the space.
