Property Management/Development Company is looking for the right individual to fill an Entry Level Administrative Assistant position, which has the potential to turn into Assistant Property Manager/ Administrative Assistant position in downtown Burlingame. Overview of position:
§ Must be a team player who has the operational and financial goals of this company in mind
§ Responsible for majority of administrative functions and the correct and timely preparation of all reporting documentation
§ Responsible for firm, fair and consistent administration of all legal company policies and practices, including, but not limited to Fair Housing Laws
§ Maintaining complete up-to-date records of move-in and move-out conditions of units, the tenants who reside there, and their employment and banking information
§ Must have previous experience in an office setting filing, taking notes, drafting correspondence, answering phones, taking clear and concise messages, copying, preparing indexes, FedEx, USPS, UPS
Requirements:
§ High School Diploma w/ 1-2 yrs related experience
§ Knowledge of basic office systems and equipment (copy, fax, scan, etc)
§ Basic bookkeeping skills
§ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
§ Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
§ Understanding of basic math with proficiency
§ Computer proficient in WinXP & 2000, Office XP & 2000, Outlook & Internet a Must, RentRight3 or Rent Manager a Plus
§ Ability to type 40wpm
§ Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
§ Must have reliable transportation (light traveling involved)
§ Must be trustworthy and extremely reliable
§ Ability to work independently
§ Strong organizational and communication skills
§ Patience and understanding
§ Strong problem solving skills, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
§ Must possess multi-tasking skills
