Kaplan is recruiting a leader to spearhead its expansion in the Bay Area.
As English Program Director, you will oversee the staff and operations of Kaplan’s full time English programs in Berkeley and downtown San Francisco. You will be responsible for the financial performance – including revenue generation and expense management – for English Programs run throughout the area. Your goal in this position will be to ensure high student satisfaction while effectively managing a team within a matrix environment. This position requires effectively liaising between the national English Program team, Bay Area Center Directors and local English staff. You will interact with international student recruiting agencies while developing and executing effective marketing plans that target the domestic student market.
Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree (Masters in Business or Education preferred)
• 3+ years experience in a management capacity with direct reports and, preferably, P+L responsibilities
• Demonstrable leadership, organizational and team development skills
• Excellent interpersonal, communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skills
• Previous experience in sales/marketing a plus
