An early-stage spinal start-up company in Sunnyvale is seeking multiples intelligent and driven product development resources (Engineers, managers, directors). SpineView, etc. are pioneering the development of a superior percutaneous spinal delivery and therapeutic systems. We are looking for motivated and competent technical resources that are willing to wear many hats and contribute a personal commitment to the success of start-up Company. We are building a dynamic and enthusiastic team to develop cutting-edge medical devices.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering (required)
- 3-15 years medical device design and/or manufacturing experience
- Hands-on mechanical and craftsman experience (device and prototype fabrication, machining, fixture construction, etc.)
- Demonstrate good teamwork and project commitment
- Have good verbal and written communications skills
- Successfully manage vendor procurement projects
- Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks or equivalent)
- Demonstrated ability to perform analysis, develop test protocols and carry out testing of the designs
- Project Management experience is desirable
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- design, develop, procure and build medical devices
- design, develop, procure and build test\fabrication fixtures.
- develop test methods to measure safety and performance of medical devices
- generate intellectual property
- design and document designs using Solidworks
- self initiative and wear many hats
