Okay, here's the gig.
As much as we would love to pay - the part does not, however you will be fed and given full credit and a copy of the finished product.
The shoot will require one day of your time after you have been cast.
The shoot is in San Jose on the East side by Reid Hillview Airport.
Please, if you do not fit the criteria, please do not submit. We know that often times actors feel that maybe a producer will let this slip or that - not the case here.
REQUIRED:
We need you look like Elvis in his late 20's early thirties. The same clean cut look as Elvis in Viva Las Vegas, 1964-66 - jet black hair, same length sideburns - all of it as close as possible.
The key is that you are just as good looking after waking up in the morning.
The role requires that you jump 40 feet from a hovering helicopter to the hot black tarmac below - just kidding - however...
it does require you to be in a terry cloth bathrobe with slippers looking like and acting like you need a weeks worth of sleep and be able to confidently deliver a minutes worth of dialogue across from another actor, yet still be professional enough to know that you are Elvis Presley. 5'10" 160 lb. and terribly handsome. NOTE: singing ability is not necessary.
The '68 Come Back Special is another look, if that was another look, and the hair needs to be clean cut like Viva Las Vegas. If you have any questions, rent the video or any of the films that were shot in Hawaii; Blue Hawaii, Paradise Hawaiian Style, or Girls, Girls, Girls - I think that's correct.
Please live in and around the Santa Cruz unless you do not have a day job and are financially together enough to have a flexible schedule and can travel to Santa Cruz for the audition and to San Jose for the shoot with no trouble.
Please submit head shot and resume via this emal address.
We will contact you if we feel you fit the criteria - otherwise the time will not be available to contact all those who submit and are not accepted - thank you in advance for understanding.
This is a process that can take a bit of time, so please be patient.
Thank you all again.
