My name is Robert Coleman, I am the President of the Pacific Venture Club http://www.pacificventureclub.com. In mid-May we are going to co-sponsor a Web 2.0 event in partnership with various financial and entrepreneurial agencies in the South Bay Area. The event will cover innovative niches and opportunities for entrepreneurs within the Web 2.0 industry space. It will include a panel that will feature entrepreneurs, VCs, incubators, and others.
I am interested in reviewing entrepreneurs who could be members of the panel. It is not necessary that you have revenues in order to participate. However, you would need to have something to say or a story to tell that would be interesting to an audience consisting of entrepreneurs, advisors, and financiers. You would also need to be able to present yourself professionally in front of an audience without embarrasing either yourself or me.
There will be no cash compensation for your participation, but it will be a major networking opportunity for you. You will make personal contacts with other panel members and various advisors and financiers for Web 2.0 companies.
I'm not going to have space for very many companies on the panel. If you respond and for some reason are not a good fit for the panel, at least we have made the introduction and you may want to attend the event anyway.
