Also oversee Project Management support for data feeds and Experience Design (rich media application development) across AOL Content Programming.

Initiated process for capturing and communicating top executive project priorities. This priority list is used by teams across multiple organizations to focus resources and build project plans.

Extended resource allocation process to Dulles, Virginia Project Management teams.

Directly managed executive level initiatives including:
• SEO – developed publishing tool requirements for organic search engine optimization, oversaw implementation,
educated the Content Programming team, and ensured ongoing compliance.
• DoubleClick Advertising revenue – managed teams in building functionality to maximize revenue opportunities.

Senior Manager, Dulles, Virginia and New York City, 2001 to 2004
Set up the organization and operations of a new creative production studio in New York City supporting Entertainment web sites
on AOL. Successes included:
• recruited, hired and mentored a new team of up to 10 Project Managers
• organized training sessions for new employees
• Established resource allocation process for design, UI design and web developers
• managed day-to-day operations including resource allocation, staffing plans and project prioritization.
Produced the channel main screen redesign effort for the AOL 8.0 release. Collaborated with representatives from 18 channels
as well as Community Programming. Gathered requirements, and facilitated creation and approval of custom designs for each
channel. All channel main screens launched by the required date.

Product Manager, International, Dulles, Virginia 2000
Represented the requirements and input of AOL’s international JVs for Community products. Worked with AOL’s International JVs
and the AOL Technologies to develop requirements and roadmaps for generation Community products.

Lead cross-functional teams of Graphic Designers, User Interface Designers, Content Programmers, and Technical Developers in the design and production effort of strategic products including AOL @School, Quick Checkout, Shopping catalogs, AOL Calendar,channel redesigns and many partner areas. Responsible for facilitating creative direction and decision making, managing project
timelines, estimates and budgets, communication, and ensuring products meet strategic business goals.

Project Manager, AOL Technologies, Reston, Virginia 1996 to 1997
Managed the Preview launch of Virtual Places on the AOL service. Established the Virtual Places Internet community on aol.com including planning and development of all related information web pages. Trained outside companies on setting up their Virtual Places communities.

FREDDIE MAC (FHLMC), McLean, Virginia 1994 to 1996
Business Analyst
Successfully designed and implemented a client-server, windows-based loan underwriting system. Responsible for detailed requirements analysis and overall logical design. Wrote technical requirements specifications that included data flows, detailed business rules and interface requirements. Designed a system-wide graphical user interface that was so intuitive that users were
comfortable within 1 day. The system was recognized as one of the best ever developed at Freddie Mac, and it increased user productivity by 10%.

AMERICAN MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS, INC., Arlington, Virigina 1991 to 1994
Systems Analyst
Led 6 analyst/programmers in the development of a medical records processing system for the U.S. Government using Object Oriented and GUI methodologies, teaching the team these methodologies in the process. Delivered on time a product that received a letter of commendation from the client at the conclusion of the system acceptance test.
