Job Description:
IronPort Systems seeks a talented and experienced IT leader with a track record of leading a high touch service delivery organization. The successful candidate will possess an exemplary command of technology, solid managerial experience, sound business judgment and compulsive attention to detail. He or she will have experience establishing, implementing and controlling best practices for IT project management throughout the organization. This includes defining and documenting all IT policies and processes in order to deliver projects according to plan and within budget. This individual will also create formal methodologies for defining project performance metrics, allocating resources, labor timekeeping and forecasting. The right person for this job will be a consummate team player who is comfortable managing in a fast paced and customer focused company.

Primary Responsibilities:
•Identify, implement, and sustain a global, standard, IT structure through continuous improvement and new technology insertion as required to support strategic growth;
•Implement a single image integrated ERP system and business planning tools.
•Develop an annual information technology business plan and an annual strategic plan that support the stated business strategies;
•Provide advice on emerging technologies, legal and regulatory issues, and procedural innovations;
•Assist with IT due diligence during the acquisition stage of new deals. Take responsibility for IT transition post-acquisition.
•Provide leadership and direction to the IT team, including mentorship, career progression, and appropriate opportunities for advancement.

Required Experience and Skills:
•Undergraduate degree with 10 years of progressively responsible positions in IT with at least 7 years in management.
•Demonstrated success implementing large-scale projects from beginning to end, delivering them on time and within budget. Solid technical familiarity with mid-range systems, ERP systems, web-based and client/server environments, local and wide-area networks and other applicable tools and technologies.
•Specific knowledge of Oracle ERP and Sales Force.com a plus.
•Must have knowledge of Financial planning applications and corporate “Dashboarding” capabilities.
•Must display excellent business acumen and a demonstrated capacity for applying technology to increase efficiencies and reduce costs. Must have a demonstrated ability to make decisions on a timely basis, deal with confrontation effectively, motivate employees both in a direct and an indirect reporting relationship, establish and drive IT strategic vision for both the department and the corporation regarding IT direction.
•Good cross functional IT knowledge (generalist); able to dig into the details if required.
•Strong familiarity with industry standard project management software.
•Experience in developing and deploying applications release program best practices, policies, procedures, and processes.
•Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
•Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
