The Camp Recovery Center offers residential treatment,outpatient, day treatment, continuing care, and online drug and alcohol treatment and rehabilitation services. We are looking for a Director of Nursing to join our team at a
beautiful facility in the Redwoods. An ability to meet challenges
and knowledge of chemical dependency treatment and rehabilitation a
must. Essential duties of the position are:
Director of Nursing
* Manage a team of 5-7 nurses/medical assistants.
* Provides direct supervision of nursing staff
* Monitors nursing portion of client records for
accuracy and timeliness.
* Coordinates with nursing staff client referral for
medical needs.
* Demonstrates knowledge of chemical addiction
medication stabilization as evidenced by verbal
communication of induction assessment tool and other
documentation.
* Assist with Quality Improvement initiatives
Preferred education/experience includes:
* Education: Graduation from an approved nursing school.
* Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
* Experience: Minimum of two years of direct program
experience is preferred.
* Must have experience managing a team of 5-7
nurses/medical assistants.
* Certifications: CPR / PMAB required.
* Licenses: License to practice as a Registered
Nurse/LVN in the State of California required (LVN/RN).
* Special Requirements: Knowledge in the disease of
chemical dependency/dual diagnosis, opiate addiction
recovery, and 12 step recovery programs required.
Management / supervision experience required.
* Age/Gender Specifics: Ability to work with male and
female, adult and adolescent substance abuse population.
