Jeanine Payer Inc. (JPI) is an internationally renowned jewelry designer and manufacturer located in San Francisco near Union Square. As one of the last remaining high-end jewelry manufactures based in the City, we carry on the rich tradition of highly crafted, hand made products. Our expert metal smiths have been manufacturing our designs by hand in our studio in San Francisco for over 14 years. Our collection is sold at our flagship retail store in San Francisco and worldwide through our high end specialty retailer partners. We are looking for a marketing expert to join our management team.
This is an extraordinary opportunity for a strategic marketing professional with a proven record of driving demand for luxury products through wholesale, retail and e-commerce channels. This position will work closely with the Owner and other members of the leadership team to develop and execute an integrated marketing plan intended to grow the business to the next level.
Qualifications:
7+ years of marketing experience – ideally in fashion, accessories or luxury market.
Ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans and branding initiatives.
Firm understanding of all aspects of consumer marketing (i.e., branding, merchandizing, pricing, packaging, promotion, advertising, public relations, media relations, etc.).
Extensive experience supporting sales through lead generation, identifying target markets, stimulating customer demand, and rationalizing the product line.
Experience with online database marketing, email campaign, and search engine optimization.
Experience introducing American made products to overseas customers; particularly in Europe and Asia.
Experience developing and managing PR activities including press contacts in the key women’s fashion print media.
Ability to direct others in graphics applications (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Proven problem-solving with critical decision-making skills.
Outstanding organizational and planning skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills.
