Based in San Francisco, GameLink is an established online retailer of adult entertainment products, specializing in DVD adn Video On Demand as well as erotic toys and apparel. The company is seeking an energetic and motivated individual to drive the execution of intiatives designed to grow the brand and expand the customer base. This position has revenue responsibility of $15M and expense responsibility of $2M.
The ideal candidate should have a passion for understanding consumer needs and must have significant eCommerce experience, with a working knowledge of analytical tools such as ATG Dynamo and HBX. In addition to participating in company-wide marketing initiatives, this position will lead a team of marketing professionals working cross-functionally with other departments to ensure that marketing programs provide customers with a great experience from start to finish.
The 90 day goals for this position include gaining the necessary knowledge about the business and market, leading an analysis of customer segmentation and customer needs, defining and implementing best practices to increase consumer conversion and retention rates, implementing performance criteria, and assisting in the fine tuning of company-wide marketing and sales stategies.
A bachelor's degree is required; an MBA is preferred. 6 to 8 years of experience in eCommerce, preferably online retail. Experience in either well established companies or start-up ventures is equally valued.
