This is a newly created position that will play an important role in guiding the next phase of profitable growth for the Tribal Fusion, Inc. This a high-visibility role reporting directly to the CFO with significant interaction with all levels of management at Tribal Fusion. The successful candidate will have strong GAAP accounting experience and a successful track record of supporting the development of accounting and finance infrastructure in high-growth environments.

Key Responsibilities:
The Director of Finance / Controller will lead worldwide accounting operations, internal controls and processes, and accounting systems development across the company to enable Tribal Fusion to meet operational, reporting and audit requirements and ensure that all accounting activities are in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage all accounting policies and operations including monthly close, AP, AR, Treasury, Payroll, and Cash Management.
Implement internal controls and processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
Direct financial reporting activities to ensure that accurate and timely information is available to senior management for decision-making.
Ensure that all appropriate policies, rules, regulations and agreements are developed and followed.
Lead Sarbanes Oxley 404 compliance project and work closely with our auditors to manage this important external relationship.
Support design and implementation of new accounting system.
Lead transactional accounting activities related to venture financing and/or M&A activity.
Coordinate inter-company pricing and consolidations with foreign subsidiaries.
Preferred Qualifications:
5-7 years accounting experience including a major public accounting firm and public or private high tech companies. BS/BA degree in accounting or related field, CPA required.
Ideal candidate will have significant relevant industry experience, preferably in online media, advertising, ecommerce or software.
Strong understanding of GAAP and technical accounting, with demonstrated revenue recognition experience.
Demonstrated experience building or managing accounting infrastructure in a start up, high-growth environment is preferred.
Expert proficiency with Excel and hands-on experience with mid-tier accounting systems (ie Great Plains).
Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to succeed in collaborative, team based organization, with strong relationship building skills.
Some experience with venture financing, M&A support, and/or IPO process is a plus.
