Job Description:
Position entails software and hardware installation, troubleshooting and upgrade.
Assisting students with any software/hardware issues that may arise.
Providing support and assistance to the Department Supervisor and Director.
Maintaining all computers, printers, scanners and peripheral equipment, while facilitating digital cameras for student checkout.
Maintaining a weekly color calibration schedule of all monitors in the digital darkrooms.
Assisting with equipment demonstrations for students and faculty.
Requirements:
Must be proficient with Adobe PhotoShop CS and Mac OSX.
Ideal candidate will be articulate, attentive and takes initiative.
Must be flexible and skilled in working with diverse groups of people.
Must have previous customer service experience.
Degree or background in photography a plus.
Experience with ink jet printers and color management a plus.
Experience with Macintosh networked environment a plus.
Salary: $13/hour.
This is a part-time position, up to 40 hours/week. (37 weeks/yr work is available 15 weeks in fall, 15 weeks in spring, and 7 weeks in summer)
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday: 12:00PM to 8:30 PM
Friday: 2:30PM to 11:00 PM
