Since i met my car, couch, apartment, current and former jobs here i decided i wanted to meet you here too. Though we've never met i already know some things about you. Would you like to know what they are?
-You are totally passionate about and committed to something: grammar, running, writing a book, playing music, your kid or niece or neighbor or neighborhood history or job or whatever. Unless it's golf. Golf gives me the creeps.
-You have friends and you're nice to them. You help them move and bring them soup when they're sick and listen to them talk when they're sad.
-You define your political views as somewhere on the spectrum of “radical”. Preferably you can talk about them without getting into a fight.
-You are kinky.
-You like to be outside. You hike or camp or surf or at least choose the table on the sidewalk when the sun in shining.
-You are not femme. You're butch, or butcher than me while still hanging out in the gray zone of gender expression.

-I'm cute in a short-skinny-post-punky sort of way.
-I've read a lot of books. I can talk semi-intelligently about the history of irrigation in California or the political system in South Africa or the Weather Underground.
-I say what i think. Some people think this is blunt and rude, some thing it's honest and refreshing. Hopefully you'll fit into the latter category.
-I have an interesting life. I have a kid and friends and projects and a cool job. It's a little short on sex and romance but it will not include a u-haul anytime soon.
-I'm funny, and i like funny in other people.
