Preston Wynne, a 21 year old, award-winning spa organization with locations in Saratoga and Los Gatos, is seeking an outstanding customer care professional who enjoys work in the wellness/beauty field. This person will support both our external customers (guests of the spa) and internal customers (co-workers who provide services to our guests.) It’s a fast-paced, demanding job but fun and rewarding for a well-grounded, well-groomed “people person” who enjoys creating memorable experiences for others.

Important: Though spas are relaxing places to visit, spas are not “relaxing” places to work. The show-must-go-on stress that happens in restaurants happens in spas. You may not need nerves of steel, but you need to be able to maintain equilibrium and graciousness in challenging situations.
Concierge Job Responsibilities:
-Coordinating guest schedules and reservations
-Supervising customer flow and ensuring guest satisfaction in the spa
-Recommending and selling home care products
-Ensuring outstanding visual presentation, immaculate environment, and appealing merchandising
-Optimizing the schedules of our revenue production staff, including massage therapists, estheticians, and nail technicians
-Explaining treatments thoroughly and helping guests make appropriate selections for their needs
-Optimizing work flow and troubleshooting during spa operations
-Guest communication, in person and on the phone
-Guest check-in and checkout, accurate point of sale data entry
-Opening and closing/securing the spa
-Light housekeeping duties
(Additionally, at our Hotel Los Gatos location)
-Coordinating guest’s hotel and spa experience
-Making welcome calls to guests and VIPs checking into the hotel
Qualifications:
At least two years of total experience in positions with high level of public contact, delivering quality services or products
-Excellent communications skills a must
-Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail
-Must enjoy a fast paced work environment (spas just LOOK relaxing!)
-Basic computer skills, MS Office and e mail
-Sales skills
Experience in the salon or spa industry, retail sales experience a strong plus.
The position begins at $10-12 per hour, based on experience and aptitude. We do a background check and personality style test as part of our employment process, as well as a series of interviews.
Part and full time positions are currently available. Full time positions qualify for benefits including medical, vacation, and some paid holidays. As well, there are employee discounts and many spa perks. We have a terrific, very welcoming team and beautiful working environment. Our Saratoga spa has about 50 employees and out Hotel Los Gatos location has about 20.
