Thank you for expressing interest in the Santa Rosa Symphony’s need for a web designer.
Our website in its current iteration has been in place for almost two years. Please check it out at www.santarosasymphony.com and submit a quote after reviewing the site contents and pages, as well as “What we can offer” below.
Workload:
We are going to need a complete redesign, but basically the content areas and categories of things will remain the same because they have been carefully worked on. If we could get what we need finished before next season (in other words by September at the latest) we would be happy. We want a great new look and functionality (eventually we will add more pages, more features—like sound files-- to what we already have). Our online ticket sales have just been added to interface with our overall integrated database software and will stay the same- you will not need to do anything to them but create pages we can put them on.
Qualifications:
We would like someone who is hip to e-commerce and has a good portfolio to show us. Two other requirements: 1) we want to be able to make text changes and do the basic updating ourselves as we do now; and 2) we need access to our webmaster to consult during the 9-5 work day. We need someone who is willing to work with a superior group of arts marketing individuals for a very vital and important community institution that has served Santa Rosa for 78 years—especially important as we move into the state-of-the-art Green Music Center and enhance our profile nationally and internationally. We need someone who is willing to work with us to negotiate a win-win.
What we can offer:
-Tax deduction for your donation of services to us as a 501c3 nonprofit organization
-Symphony tickets
-Program book recognition
-Links from our site to yours and recognition online as we agree is appropriate
-Minimal monetary compensation is negotiable
If interested in exploring this further, please send me a resume and links to websites you have designed and managed. Email any questions.
