REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Reports directly to Papa's Kettle Corn upper management and when required Service Systems Associates.
WORK SCHEDULE: Summer Full-time; weekend and part-time in shoulder months
SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversees the day to day operations of the concessions trailer and all mobile food carts at the San Francisco Zoo. Also, assists with other special events associated with Papa's Kettle Corn.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Responsible for the day to day functions of the concession operation (excluding restaurants)
-Controls food quality, service, cleanliness, safety, with continuous tours of the facilities
-Insures that all concession employees are in proper uniform
-Assists the F&B Manager with the determining product lines needed for concession operation
-Conducts training sessions as needed, assuring that each employee is properly and thoroughly trained for their positions
-Maintains all concession locations in a clean, attractive manner consistent with health department regulations
-Develops and implements adequate systems to prevent loss of receipts and products
-Remains knowledgeable about and insures compliance with regulations regarding employment and safety
-Investigates all visitor comments and takes swift, decisive, and positive actions to rectify problems and reward quality service
-Assists with the preliminary recruitment and hiring of personnel
-Responsible for profit and loss of the concession operations
-Maintains par levels of products to insure that all locations are adequately stocked prior to gate openings
-Keeps operating manuals up to date for all locations
-Maintains equipment in good working order
