East Bay, casual fine dining restaurant and catering company seeks committed, experienced servers with an engaging tableside manner, upbeat personality, an evolved understanding of service, and mature sense of fun within the framework of fulfilling the obligations of "being on the clock."
We are an Alameda County Certified Green Business.
The restuarant is on a dynamic growth curve. We have hired an oustanding chef & service/operations manager to help lead the next wave of growth. The quality of cuisine has been scaled up considerably. We are looking to fill some shifts with servers who know how to deliver the goods
additional qualifications are at least 2 years service experience with a minimum of one year fine dining. expert wine knowledge is big plus. must be team player with good work habits. willing to make two to three year commitment. We seek candidates for whom this would primary commitment. For this reason it unlikely we would hire an undergraduate.
Within this framework, we have a very permissive vacaton/travel and shift exchange policy.

COMPENSATION: We expect a full-time, qualified server would be averaging about $40,000 a year by the end of the first year or so, with considerable growth potential from there. If growth develops according to plan, health benefits would become available after six months to a year.
