History on the clock, The clock was given to my wife about 15 years ago. At that time the clock had been sitting a long time and was missing a pendulum. I took it to a clock shop in San Leandro and they put a pendulum in it and it worked fine for years. I asked them how much it was worth and they told me $800 plus, back in 1990. The clock was on our fireplace mantel for a number of years. We redecorated and the clock went in to my mother inlaws storage. Here's the bad part. The clock is missing the pendulum now and the glass is cracked on the front door. I believe the manufacturer is “Walt” and it was made In Germany.
