Notes: Petey is 2 year old neutered male Chihuahua mix. He weighs about 8 pounds. He came into the foster care program very shy, but is gaining confidence every day. When frightened, he avoids the situation. He has never growled or shown any aggression. Once he knows he is safe he is a very affectionate and calm lap dog. He is also starting to play with toys a little. He walks well
on a leash. He stays in a puppy pen while I'm at work and has had 'accidents' in it during the day, but when I'm home and he is free to run around the house he has been great. So, he may be house broken for someone who is at home to monitor his activity. He is good
with men, women, cats, and other dogs. At the adoption event, he was friendly to children, but I think the activity level that comes with kids would be too much for him.
