Description Tracey's Place of Hope, a residential program for dually diagnosed adolescent girls, is seeking quality, dedicated staff to join our treatment team. We are currently seeking an operations manager/case manager to be responsible for managing the day-to-day functions of the residence, as well as assist with case management and treatment planning. We are a small, intimate, and very dynamic program that is a part of the Women's Recovery Association (WRA), an agency dedicated to providing substance abuse services to women and their families.

Our treatment approach is both individualized and developmentally appropriate, meaning that we work to empower our clients to emerge from treatment as sober young women with meaningful community, peer, and family relationships. It is a unique program, with tremendous opportunity for learning and growth for both staff and clients.

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. The hours are Monday through Friday (three days 7am to 3pm, and two days 9 am to 5 pm).

JOB DESCRIPTION

· Schedule and coordinate medical, dental and psychiatric appointments, as well as prescription refills, issues with benefits, contact with the county foster care nurses, etc.
· Communicate with schools and school district on attendance issues, transcripts, or as directed by Case Manager/Program Administrator
· Assist with case management and community integration as necessary
· Maintain order and enforce house rules in a manner which will encourage a feeling of responsibility to the home and community of which the resident has become a member and support other staff in that process
· Assist and provide guidance, support and supervision to residents and staff as required/appropriate
· Participate in weekly clinical team meetings, as well as weekly staff meetings, individual supervision and lead staff meetings
· Collaborate with clinical team on milieu, case management, transportation and medical needs – communicate specific issues to the rest of the staff as well as model appropriate clinical responses as determined by clinical team
· Collaborate with weekend supervisor to ensure consistency of communication and program implementation
· Maintain residents’ records as required by CCL, as well as medication records, weight records, medical appointment logs, lead staff log, staff log, staff sign-in, phone log, safety checks, etc. (all maintenance and documentation records at TPOH) as required by CCL and TPOH policies and procedures
· Maintain appropriate food and household supplies (assist as needed)
· Maintain office supplies, UA and breathalyzer supplies and copies as needed
· Complete monthly staff schedule, secure coverage for absences, and coordinate vacation schedules (in collaboration with program director). Additionally, fill shifts in a staffing emergency.
· Provide van transportation for residents or arrange for other appropriate transportation, manage the transportation schedule
· Handle emergency and/or crisis situations in the residence or the community
· Maintain records of resident activities away from home so the residents can be located at all times, in addition, coordinate with day treatment staff on transportation needs for the afternoons
· Provide business office with required end of the month reports: including household cash and transportation disbursements
· Complete money request forms and manage household budget, including client allowance
· Maintain facility so as to assure safety of clients and staff. Maintain the van, including scheduled maintenance, repairs and gas, so as to ensure safety of clients and staff
· Coordinate with WRA facilities manager on van and facility maintenance issues
· Assist in hiring, orienting and training new residential staff

REQUIREMENTS

· Two years of previous experience with adolescents with at least one year in residential program (significant experience with another population may be substituted)
· BSW preferred/BA required
· Previous supervisory experience a plus
· Knowledge of addiction and recovery (personal recovery a plus, but not required)
· Awareness and understanding of adolescent development and behavior
· Valid CDL, clean driving record, and the ability to be insured by WRA's insurance policy
· California Department of Justice and FBI fingerprint clearances
· TB clearance
· Drug free (if in recovery, at least two years clean)
· Ability to work collaboratively with peers and supervisors
· High level of dependability and dedication to the work
· Bilingual (English/Spanish), another plus
