BOOKKEEPER and GENERAL OFFICE WORK
Are you ready to make a difference with accounting?
Opening in a two-person nonprofit which staffs the Mental Health Board of
San Francisco, a City commission.
Skills required:
1. Good basic knowledge of Quickbooks or similar program. Able to do:
double entry books, journal entries, financial statements, cash flow
spreadsheets, reconciliation of bank statements. (Payroll is done by
Paychex.)
2. PC savvy. Proficient with MS Word, Excel, FileMaker, e-mail, and
internet.
3. Strong clerical skills, very well organized, good at project management.
Ability to type comprehensive minutes at commission meetings, then proof,
and post on the website.
4. Good people skills.
Interest in advocating for mental health services a plus. Also an interest
in City politics and government.
Some flex time, some evening work.
Position is currently part-time at 28 hours a week. May move to full time,
which is 35 hours a week, in July. Good health benefits.
