Amazing that there are people who think Bonds may not have used steriods. I have been pumping iron for 20+ years and have know people who use steriods and have competed in bodybuilding shows.
I recall a few years(4-5) I was channel surfing with the mute on; yes a guy thing. I stoppped at a channel with Barry Bonds. I'm not a sports fan the reason I stopped was "Damn this guy is juicing". I could see it in his face. In lay mans terms it was immediately obvious that Bonds was on a steriod cycle. I unmuted and caught Bonds saying "No I don't use steriods". I almost fell of the couch laughing.
Is it fair just to pick on Bonds? Maybe, maybe not. It isn't that much about race as some have suggested but more about that Bonds is breaking long standing records of others who did not use steriods.
Go to any hard core gym and ask anyone if Bonds is using steriods and the answer you get is a resounding "Yes!". Go to a bar where the cigarette smoking beer belly fat fucks ("sport fans") hang out you will probably get a different answer.
The question for all who seem so outraged what will you do when they have gene therapy to increase speed and muscle mass? It is in the works.
On the positive side, this may hurt professional sports.
