Description

Hi and thanks for checking out my ad! If you value a safe, nurturing environment offering an authentic therapeutic massage experience, my work will be for you. Whether you're wanting deep relaxation, or deep tissue, or exploring the mind/body connection, my responsibility is to meet the individual needs of each person.

In 1983, I received my initial 1000 hrs. of intensive training at the Institute of Traditional Medicine in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I’m trained in Swedish / Esalen, Reflexology, Polarity therapy, and Deep Tissue massage modalities. I have also received additional training in Basic Chinese Medical Principles, Nutrition, and Anatomy and Physiology. I lived in Bellingham, WA where I became licensed in the latter part of 1983 and set up a massage practice. In 1995, after an extended period in Taiwan studying Mandarin Chinese, I moved to San Francisco. I worked as a massage therapist for Club One until 2001. I have continued my education though workshops and seminars, some of which were related to chair massage. In 1997, I founded a successful small business San Francisco Massage Works. Throughout the SF Bay Area we offer chair massage at events and businesses.

I keep busy most days running my chair massage business. However, I do have availability some days, most evenings and weekends. I practice out of my quiet and sunny Mission / Noe Valley Studio, and use hypo-allergenic oil and lotion. Although calling ahead ensures availability, last minute calls are always welcome. Feel free to give a me call if you are shopping around or would just like to learn more about my services.
