Run 'em Ragged (owned and operated by A DOG'S LIFE Doggie Daycare and Dog Spa), among the largest dog daycare, boarding, training and grooming facilities in the Bay Area, is searching for enthusiastic dog lovers to manage, care for and interact with our pups. We are interviewing for the following part time position: Play Group Leader.

You must have a passion for dogs, high energy, excellent communication skills, reliable transportation, a strong work ethic and the desire to have FUN! You must be able to work as a team player in a fast paced and loud atmosphere that can be physically demanding. Play Group Leaders are responsible for supervising and regulating all dog-dog play, interacting with clients and helping to open and close the facility. Applicants must be mature, able to take initiative, be punctual and extraordinarily dependable.
We are open 365 days per year for daycare and boarding. AM (6:45am-1:45pm) and PM (1:30 pm-8:30pm) shifts are available seven days per week (and some holiday overnights.) We are looking for several new staff members to take on 14-28 hours per week, and who are available Sunday, Monday and Wednesday. ****Prior working/volunteer experience with dogs HIGHLY DESIRED**** However, employees receive all necessary training on site, so a great personality and the desire to learn about dogs are a MUST! Your schedule may change weekly. Opportunities for more hours will be available.
Typical responsibilities may include supervising and managing playgroups, feeding meals, washing dishes, general cleaning and maintenance. Attentiveness to the pups is an absolute must! Applicants must not have a fear of elbow grease, as our reputation depends upon safety and CLEANLINESS. We have great customers and a great team, and we are looking for a terrific addition to that team.
Reliable transportation is a must, as well as a cell phone (with voice mail). A background check will be done on all qualified candidates. Positions start at $8.75/hour, and may be negotiable depending on experience.
