Sacramento River Keepers, an environmental advocacy group dedicated to the restoration of the Sacramento River, is seeking to acquire a boat for us to use for educational and research purposes. Our goal is to work with at risk teens to give them hands on experience in vessel maintenance and boating skills while conducting riparian research along the Sacramento River.
We would consider any offer of assistance with great appreciation. We have carpentery and mechanically skilled volunteers so vessel condition is not too great of importance.
