Round Hill Country Club, a premier facility in the San Francisco Bay Area, is currently accepting applications for the position of full-time Assistant Tennis Professional. RHCC has over 400 active families, a junior program accommodating 130 players and is home to 20 USTA adult teams. Facilities consist of a 15 outdoor court tennis center (9 lighted) with pro shop and sports bar, 18-hole championship golf course, dining, and fitness facilities. The ideal candidate has a competitive background and plays at least at a 5.0 level while embracing high level customer service as a daily orientation. The candidate will develop a lesson business revolving around junior program hours, private lessons and regular work-out lessons with men who are USTA veterans/former college players. Racquet stringing along with a percentage of private lessons and separate hourly rates for clinic hours and administrative time comprise the compensation package. After 90 days, candidates working over 30 hours per week can be considered for a benefits package consisting of health/dental insurance, paid time off and a 401K retirement plan. Successful candidates embrace working in a major country club environment with 7 staff pros and have their sights set on a career in the club industry. USPTA certification is required within 12 months of starting employment, while those already holding certification can expect higher wages.
