We are a well established, privately held construction (pavers) company operating in San Jose with an immediate opening for Assistant Retail Sales Manager for the sales and marketing efforts in our retail division in San Jose.
Job Requirements:
* Two years experience
* Proven retail sales background with management experience
* Proven ability to initiate and promote sales in a retail environment
* Great organizational skills
* Professional & Efficient phone skills
* Outstanding communication skills with customer's and employees
* Excellent work attendance habits
* Strong math skills
* Flexible and willing to multi-task (cross training)
* Be able to work unsupervised, solve problems and process/expedite orders.
* Qualified candidates will have a minimum of two years industry experience (construction) or equivalent experience in a service related industry working closely with an operations team to carry out sales objectives.
* Provide quotations to contractors and customers as required. This includes preparing quotes and follow-up to determine status on all quotes.
* Attention to detail and a technical understanding of the product line after training.
* The individual we seek will work well with minimum supervision, be highly motivated, and possess excellent verbal and written skills in addition to great customer service skills. * That individual must be able to generate professional-quality, computer-generated quotes and proposals.
* Computer experience with Microsoft suite of products required.
* Bi-Lingual (Spanish) required.
* Supervise staff and create work schedules
* AA required, BA or BS preferred
