Silent Alarm a feature length indie film now in post production is currently looking for a reliable and passionate assistant editor. Our production consists of some of the best up and coming SF/Bay area crew members. Crew members includes: Director of photography; Dan Schmeltzer from Travelers Film, Sound by; Paul Nordin from EMB Studio, Set design by; Everett Taasevigen, Written & Produced by; Gerry Moog, and Directed by; Clody Cates. The film has a great story line, amazing actors and is beautifully shot, ensuring very good exposure and distribution. The perfect candidate would have his/her own Mac workstation and a decent knowledge of FinalCutPro 4.5 or up, with 24p capturing experience. Main duties will consist in logging and capturing all the tapes, and creating a by scenes filing system. We are looking for a young enthusiastic filmmaker/editor who needs and wants to gain experience and build his/her resume, since we cannot offer any other compensation for the work at this time.
