The mission of the Child Care Coordinating Council of San Mateo County (4Cs) is to ensure quality care and education for the healthy development of every child in San Mateo County.
Under the direction of the Family Support Manager, the Program Asssociate I will be responsible and accountable for assigned portions of the 4Cs CAPP program.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Provide case management for specifically assigned portion of the Council’s CAPP program including ensuring program consistency and compliance with required state regulations. Oversee and provide case management of the COHO contract. Assist with coordination of contract monitoring, and reporting and compliance functions of the CAPP child care program. Provide in person and phone shift resource and referral services to parents and community. Interview and enroll eligible families for health insurance services(CAA). Foster collaborative efforts within the department and enthusiastically carry out overall Council goals and mission. Assist with coordination of “Choosing child care” workshops at homeless shelters. Other miscellaneous functions as required
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
AA Degree or equivalent in ECE or related fields
2-3 years experience in a social service program providing case management, or working in the child development field
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
