I'm a musician who has played in this state for at least thirty years, and the way we use to get gigs has changed, Personally I think CL stinks, not cl per say but "whas up" here.
I don't return any adds because the adds I might be interested in, all have an Anomymous number, no information on the music's/bands future, or personel, the worst no name. There is never a phone number! so I figure it's just an other email waste of time back n forth, until it's just a political war. nothing to do with music at all!
What the hell is wrong with people, have you got to much time on your hands, are you filthy rich? I honestly don't see any big groupes billed out of CL. Put together at CL.
so what's really going on in the bay area?? The 60's are over for dam sure, and the new music is starting to sound like a wet sponge without soap on dry glass.
Is it too much Prozac or is the brain switch not turned to creative prosess?
Has anyone got a clue?
