If you are reading this you know what you are looking at.... but here are some specs....
It is a type of API .. you can find a little info on it online... api
closed down and one of the guys continued on under aspi, then api came
back in business and used the parts from apsi to launch the new api
line, then they were back on their feet. APSI was made late 70s early
80s, i dont know about how it works, we purchased it to resale. I was
told the meters all work, and all channels pass signal and the eqs
work, but I have not tested it... and you would need a tech to comission this board as it needs to be hardwired in...
.

The status and mixdown capacity of the model 3000 is one of its
greatest strengths. Master control and
in-channel switches quickly convert the console from record to
playback to mixdown modes. During
recording, the status system provides appropriate feeds to tape as
well as all necessary selections for
monitoring both new and previously recorded tracks. The Mixdown mode,
however, is the most unique
feature of the system. in this mode, the 24 track buses operate as
either effects buses or grouping buses.
depending on the users choice. Thus, the model 3000 overcomes the
limitation most consoles in the
number of effects sends they provide; or alternatively it offers as
many as 24 group buses, even without
VCA grouping. The console allows a level of complexity in mixing that
few, if any, other consoles can
achieve.
Audio quality is never compromised in the APSI Mdl 3000. Dynamic range
is typically 118db in every
channel; in mixdown mode,this allows a 32-input console to achieve
108db or greater range at its master
outputs. Proprietary third-generation differential microphone
preamplifiers offer wider input and common
mode range then competitive designs, yet provides noise performance
typically within 1 db of the
theoretical limit.
The Apsi Mdl 3000 is the first fully balanced transformerless console
in the industry. Proprietary
differential amplifiers provide balanced lines at all inputs, outputs
and patch points. The latest high slew-
rate,ultra low noise IC op amps are used in all audio paths; on
mixdown buses, special mixing amplifiers
are used which produce even better noise performance to achieve the
consoles exceptional dynamic

all forms is maintained at levels
