I have helped numerous students improve their math grades in
a short period of time. Deep insight of mathematics knowledge structure and many
years of teaching experience enable me to quickly identify any weaknesses with
the student’s understanding of math concepts and clarify difficult concepts in a
way the student can easily understand. My tutoring puts emphasis on helping
students improve problem solving skills by addressing the thought process
behind solving a problem and by teaching fundamental mathematical thoughts and
methods encountered in high school math knowledge. My tutoring also teaches
students how to write math clearly and orderly - a basic math training which is
unfortunately neglected by today's school math education. A good math written
expression ability is critical to writing the AP Calculus test and to future academic
career.
