80 Gallon Glass Fish Tank with Wooden Stand and Hood. IN EXCELLENT CONDITION!
Stand has 2 doors for storage of equipment.
Currently set up as a reef style tank but can be converted to anything.
Tank Measurements: 50" long, 19" Wide, 59" Tall
Equipment:
Note: All Lights listed below are on timers, which are included, to give a natural light cycle during the day (morning light, afternoon light and moonlight).
-2 40w HO Fluorescent Actinic Blues (ballast recently dies, have
replacement included)
-4 55 PC's Mixed Actinic/Daylight bulbs (only two work, but sufficient
for certain invertebrates)
- Protein Skimmer is a Seaclone 100 (should be upgraded if planning on a
more expansive reef)
-Several Power-heads, mixed sizes
-Magnum 350 Deluxe canister filter (I use it to hold phosphates
absorbers and as extra water circulation, it can be converted to carbon or micron filtering)
-2 Ebo Jager Heaters 150watt each
-Custom made Plexiglas covers for aquarium top, under the wooden hood to
keep water away from lights
-1 Underhood Cooling fan
-2 Empty 25 gallon water containers for buying seawater (or mixing your own!)
Livestock: (not much included)
-150 pounds of live sand, has tons of micro fauna living in it, from
worms to tiny starfish (great stuff).
- 80+ pounds of man-made live rock from www.garf.org--very unique in shape!
- 1 Star Polyp Cluster (green)
- 1 Hammer coral, 11+ coral heads on it now, had 5 when I purchased it,
grows fast (green/orange)
- 1 Brain Coral, (white/green)
- 1 Blue Tang Fish
- 1 Clown Fish
- 1 Lemon Peel Angel Fish
- 50+ mixed reef snails and hermit crabs
I used store bought purified seawater for each water change and used distilled water on daily top offs.
If you want everything included, I have several large rubber containers I have used in the past to break down and move this tank that I can provide to you.
This reef tank has been running for 3+ years now. It currently has an algae infestation which I will work on minimizing thru physical removal of the algae and several water
changes.
If you only want the tank/Stand, I can arrange to remove the sand/rock/live stock.
I must stress that if you wish to keep this tank as a reef tank and
expand it, a few items will need to be upgraded a bit- lights & protein skimmer
in particular. Reef Tanks are definitely not for beginners, so please have
at least some reef tank knowledge if you wish to keep it as such.
I have over $1400.00+ put into this tank, but my new home does not allow aquariums.
Therefore, come and take everything listed away for the LOW LOW price of $400.00! (Price may negotiable if you are seriously interested in everything!) If you only want the tank and stand without any equipment of livestock, let me know and we can discuss the price.
You must arrange to pick up and transport the tank. If you live locally, I could possibly arrange to come with and help you re-set the tank up.
I also have a few close up pictures of some of the livestock (corals, fish, rock). I can email those to you if you would like a close up.
Pictures are below. Thanks for your interest! Please email with any questions, or to set up a time to come by and take a look! SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY, PLEASE!!!
This must be gone before April 1st!!!
