In celebration of Earth Day, all proceeds from Buffalo Exchange’s Dollar Day Sale benefit The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), the nation's largest animal protection organization. All sale items offered for one dollar each on April 22 will go to Wild Neighbors™, the Urban Wildlife Program of The HSUS. Wild Neighbors™ promotes means for resolving conflicts between wildlife and humans and cultivates an understanding and appreciation for those wildlife species commonly found in cities and towns. Give your furs back to the animals! Now through Earth Day, bring your real and faux fur apparel, including fur trims, fur accessories (such as hats, gloves, and muffs), and shearling to your local Buffalo Exchange and let us know it’s a donation for The Humane Society. Please try to limit faux fur donations to smaller trim pieces. Since your donation is not being purchased by Buffalo Exchange, condition is unimportant. As of Feb 20, 2006, the resale clothing store chain has 26 stores and 5 franchises in 11 states, with $40 million a year in sales.
