Benefits the DeFrank Center’s Youth Programs and the Rainbow Chamber of Commerce’s LGBT Youth Scholarship Fund
The delicious taste of fresh cracked Dungeness crab and hot pasta, coupled with the festive atmosphere of the Venice Carnivale, will fill the air of the Billy DeFrank Ballroom. This fun combination of wild table décor and delicious all-you-can-eat crab benefits the DeFrank Center's Youth Programs and the Rainbow Chamber of Commerce's LGBT Youth Scholarship Fund.
At a cost of just $45 per person, you¹ll enjoy the camaraderie of Carnivale and the taste sensation of unlimited, delicious cracked crab with cocktail sauce, salad with vinaigrette dressing, sourdough buns with butter, penne pasta with marinara sauce and parmesan cheese, chocolates and after dinner mints.
A no-host cocktail hour from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. with complimentary chips, salsa and popcorn will start off the event as you cruise from table to table viewing the individual décor created by table hosts.
Then, we’ll get down to business, eating crab with glee! Rainbow Chamber Philanthropic Chair Rachel Hill will emcee the event, talk about the beneficiaries, award the prize for best table decoration, and raffle off exceptional prizes.
The Crab Carnivale is sponsored by: Michael Nemcik, Realty World; Michael LoMonaco, Coldwell Banker; Randall Romero, Coldwell Banker; Kate Frias, Willow Street, Inc.; Carma Van Houten, Washington Mutual; Miguel Mendoza, Everything's Blooming; Steve Sosnowski, State Farm Insurance; Dan Morris, Morris and D'Angelo; David Nyblom, Scandalous Salon; Ken Yeager, San Jose City Council; Kevin Roche, Costume-Con 26 and Mark Gillard, OutNow Newsmagazine.
