Portfolios Featuring Winter 2006 Graduates in Fashion Design, Game Art & Design, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Media Arts & Animation and Visual & Game Programming
SAN FRANCISCO (February, 2006) – The public is invited to meet a new generation of up-and-coming designers participating in the Winter 2006 Portfolio Show at The Art Institute of California – San Francisco. The March 23 event will feature artwork, design portfolios and demo reels of students graduating in the fields of Fashion Design, Game Art & Design, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Media Arts & Animation and Visual & Game Programming.
The Portfolio Show will feature light refreshments and an opportunity to meet and converse with graduates looking for employment, as well as faculty and staff of the school. Students graduating with either associate or bachelor’s degrees will be showcased.

“This is a perfect opportunity to see fresh design talent in a variety of fields all in one setting,” said Donna Dessart, Director of Career Services for the school. “We invite anyone who’s looking to hire entry-level designers to come to this event to meet this new group of graduates. It’s a great chance to see their portfolios and meet them in person.”
The Art Institute of California – San Francisco’s Career Services Department works with Bay Area employers to supply new talent for a variety of design jobs. Alumni from the school have been hired by local companies including, Electronic Arts, Lucas Arts, Williams Sonoma, Levi Strauss, PDI/DreamWorks, Double Fine, KNTV-TV NBC11, Georgiou, Mulberry Neckwear, Koret of California, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Leapfrog, Topcon Laser Systems, Inc., Checkpoint Software Technologies, There.com, Pencom Inc., and other companies.
