I’m selling my black and red 2003 Lemond Zurich road bike. I’m sad to see it go, no hard luck story here, I just don’t have time to ride anymore. It’s funny how life has a way of doing that, work hard to get the toys you want, but you’re working so hard you can’t play with them…
Anyway, the bike is in awesome condition, it rides/shifts smoothly and easily and has never been in an accident. It has around 600 miles on it. The frame is 57” which fits a man 5-10” to 6-1” or so.
The frame is Reynolds 853 steel. It has Shimano Ultegra components, Bontrager rims/wheels, Time Impact pedals ($160 value) and a Lemond Carbon fork. I’ll also throw in a Planet Bike Protégé 9.0 computer and a pair of black SIDI Genius road shoes, size 46, size 12 US ($250 value).
I bought it new in 2004 for $2300, I’m asking $1300.
