Mosaics for Beginners w/ Lisa Bookstein
·Each student will design and create a mosaic stepping stone with broken tile, glass and/or dishware. Wear a work shirt and bring a snack, drinks will be provided.
·In this 2-part, 6- hour workshop, you will learn the basics of creating a beautiful mosaic piece for your home or garden. We will cover basic cutting and breaking techniques, setting and adhesives choices, suitable bases and grouting.
·Instruction w/ hands- on demonstrations, detailed handout, stepping stones,
tools, grout, and a terrific assortment of tile and materials will be provided.
·Classes are limited to 3 students, studio environment is very playful.
