Drawing from the collections of the museums of San Francisco, this course will cover the principal artistic movements which have shaped the history of art in France: Baroque, Rococo, Neoclassicism, Realism, Impressionism, Fauvism, Cubism, Surrealism and Modern Art. (Possible museum visits with commentary from the teacher following each lesson).
