Responsibilities
Install and configure primary Linux database server running MySQL 4.1. Install and configure secondary Linux database server running MySQL 4.1 as failover device for primary server. Install and configure set of Linux web servers to be running JBOSS 4 in a clustered and load-balanced configuration. Load balancing will be provided by Cisco CSS hardware, which is already installed and configured. Configure JBOSS web application support for shared session persistence, a single shared JNDI data source (MySQL server), and farm deployment (deploy to one server, replicate to the cluster). Work with our JSP engineers to test and optimize the cluster with an existing web application.
