1985 VW Vanagon Westfalia Camper, with 2 burner propane stove, sink, swivel velour seat with armrest and cozy new sheepskin covers, 2-swing out/removable tables, and a propane fridge that runs on ac when parked, sleeps 4 (2 up on pop-top bed and 2 below), runs great, and ready to camp or carry! The Westfalia is one of the most economical "homes on wheels" in the world.
This clean camper was very well maintained, no pets or smokers. Does not leak oil or overheat, runs smoothly, and easy to drive.
Just smogged (passed), and is registered in California (flood free)
Automatic Transmission
110,000 original miles (less than 5,500 miles/yr-mostly on the longer trips described below), all with the original owner
This camper has an interesting history, it was picked up brand new from Westfalia Werke in Rheda-Wiedenbruk, Germany, traveled Europe, brought to the USA, returned to Germany where it toured Europe again, returned to the USA, and has been driven across the entire US, to Canada and Mexico. This camper was very reliable for 20 years.
Valve and head gasket replaced at 70K
Rack and pinion steering, shocks, catalytic converter replaced at 80K miles
Water pump replaced 2003
Alternator replaced 2004
Tires in good condition, remote control Blaupunkt radio, all upholstery like new, privacy curtains all around, built-in rechargable propane tank with accessory connection for optional heater, closet and storage throughout
