I have years of experience within Interior Design, and have since moved into the import home furnishings business.
So I'm constantly meeting many wonderful people here in San Francisco , who would like to create their own personal environment within their homes, but have no clue how or where to start, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THEY DO NOT HAVE THE TIME. The high hourly rates that full time Interior Designers charge and the fear that their home will be transformed into an impersonal showroom of some sort, keeps many people living in decor limbo. Not quite sure how to get their hands around it.
After the numerous friends, and friends of friends whom I've given advice and consultations to, I decided to offer this service.
Basically It's a series of consultations, no hourly rates , no mark ups on products.
1)I will help you identify what exactly your functional needs for your living areas are.
2)What personal marks, touches, vibe, setting are you trying to achieve within each individual room
3)I will direct you to all the necessary resources and places to purchase these specific items.
Additional services:
4) Freedom to exercise the option as to whether I do the leg work / personal shopping or you feel you would like to and have the time.
5)Access to my moving guy who is hands down the nicest, most trustworthy and least expensive guy in the city. Average cost per pickup truck load is $75-$100.
This is YOUR home. You deserve to be living in it exactly the way you want it to be ; especially considering the cost and sacrifices that it takes to live in such an amazing city.
