Description Greetings.

► Do you feel you've taken your startup as far as you can as a founder and need help scaling the initial success?

►Has your startup decided to turn over the CEO duties to a leader with experience and references who can bring it to over $100mm in sales who has done it before several times? If so, read on.

HERE ARE MY MUST-HAVES:

► Do you have an over $3mm/year run-rate in ACTUAL revenues now to support a new CEO leader full-time?

► Are you in a new sub-segment niche with few competitors and unique technology?

► Are you located in California?

If your MUST-HAVE answers are yes, especially having "a new sub-segment niche with few competitors and unique technology," please continue reading and email me so we can talk soon.

THESE ARE MY NICE-TO-HAVES:

► Were you "pulled" into your business by customers demanding a solution?

► Are you in need of marketing, channel, sales, and strategic roadmap development to scale the company to the next level?

WHY AM I LOOKING IF I'M SO EXPERIENCED & CONNECTED?

► Although I currently advise a few high growth startups, none of them is mature enough in revenues to hire me as their full time CEO at the moment, so I'm looking for a company further along to replicate my previous formula for success. Moreover, startups with a new sub-segment niche with few competitors and unique technology are relatively hard to find.

HERE'S WHAT I OFFER:

► Serial entrepreneurship: I’ve started or turned around 11 technology companies in just about every engineering field over the last 22 years; I'm an entrepreneur-at-heart who thrives on growth.

► My efforts led to over $180mm in exits for investors.

► As an authority specifically on hi tech startups, I have been appointed to lead a forum/course on it at UCLA for spring 2006.

► A proven 22-year track record of achievements at world-class Fortune 500 firms as COO/VP/CEO (Western Digital, Northrop Grumman) and at several small startups.

As VP and acting COO, I led the turnaround of $3B Western Digital’s former subsidiary, Connex and SANavigator, followed by their all-cash sales to Adaptec/Snap & McData Corp. At Connex, I repositioned the P&L so the company would no longer consume cash from Western Digital.

Connex was faltering for 4 years before I arrived. Within 10 months, I refined the product roadmap, balance sheet, and P & L, and landed big OEM & VAR deals (Gateway/Dell) that ramped up sales to a $80mm run rate from $2mm. We sought outside financing through VC’s while simultaneously exploring sale of the company directly and through Citigroup/Salomon Smith Barney. The company was split in two and sold for cash to larger competitors while thriving today. Parent Western Digital and shareholders were happy. I can replicate these results with other faltering companies that would benefit from restructuring and/or private equity.

I have:

► Successfully negotiated big OEM strategic alliances when marketing budgets are constrained.

► Achieved successful marketing campaigns out of rigorous MRD's.

► Held EVP, VP, Director positions in Marketing, Sales & senior strategy positions in Fortune 500 technology companies.

► Written many professional business plans directed to the investment community's hot buttons.

► World-class enterprise storage networking references (Larry Boucher-SCSI/Adaptec Founder/Auspex/Alacritech, Steve Duplessie-ESG, & Nick Bambos-Stanford).

► Top engineering grad school MS degrees (U. Illinois-Urbana, USC, & Penn State), a distinguished high tech network, prestigious institutional investor consulting clients, and an expansive Rolodex that includes leaders at Cisco, IBM, Sun, Symantec/Veritas, Microsoft, Oracle, HDS, McData, NetApp, LSI, Brocade, Western Digital, Adaptec, WSGR, vc’s, Stanford, Harvard, UC-Berkeley, UCLA, & USC.

► 200+ hedge fund clients looking to fund private equity startups like yours from my position as a
Wall Street Technology Consultant III to :
- Standard & Poors/McGraw Hill/VISTA Research
- Gerson Lehrman Group
- Nitron Advisors

EVEN MORE NICE-TO-HAVES:

► Are you in any high tech or high growth areas, be it data storage (where my 200+ hedge fund clients are eager to fund startups with revenues), software, data center, nanotech, energy, biometrics, chips, internet, or systems?

► Do you have a technical team from world-class technology juggernauts (EMC, Veritas, Adaptec, LSI, Sun, Microsoft, StorageTek, etc.) with patents and barriers to entry?

► Are you in need of funding from (less-expensive-than-vc) hedge fund private equity where I have hundreds of solid personal relationships? (most often, I find no funds are necessary after I restructure and get cash flowing again)

I am open to COO/VP at larger world-class VC portfolio companies, or VC partner/EIR positions.

I will only seriously consider salaried positions.

Please, no scams, MLM, indeterminate/complex investing schemes, or form letter email replies. My only interest is in honestly building successful 5-10 year exits for shareholders based on serving real markets with real products. I never invest my own money, so don't ask me for money, but I will lead the deal, if necessary, with my trusted hedge fund clients who are very smart and do rigorous due diligence, just as I do.

If you like what I have to offer and your company fulfills the above MUST-HAVES, please email me so we can talk.

If you'd like to expedite the process, you can send me detailed data on revenues, cash flow, profitability, product, competitive position, years in business, location, etc.

Thank you for your consideration.
