The Bolinas Tree House isn't actually IN a tree, but it sure feels like it when you're sitting on the 1000 sq-ft deck
overlooking the Bolinas Lagoon and Bolinas Ridge!
Its the perfect spot on the Northern California coast for a long weekend or a weeklong vacation rental. Less than an
hour's drive from San Francisco, Bolinas provides access to the areas beautiful attractions including the Point Reyes
National Seashore and Mt Tamalpais. The house provides all modern amenities in a rural setting only one mile from
downtown Bolinas and numerous gorgeous beaches.
The house sits up on Horseshoe Hill in Bolinas and overlooks the magnificent Bolinas Lagoon. Across the lagoon,
Bolinas Ridge runs north-south. The house is surrounded by many grand old Coast Live oak trees, their branches
framing most views of the lagoon and ridge. The sun rises directly in front of the house across the lagoon, streaming
rich morning light directly into the house. Sunsets are marked by rich hues of light reflecting off the ridge.
During early morning or early evening, it's not uncommon to see bay area fog sliding down the ridge, over the
Redwoods and into the awaiting lagoon.
Pergrine falcons, turkey vultures, and an array of bird species are commonly sighted from many vantage points
through out the property. In the quiet early morning or late evening, water fowl can be heard in the lagoon playing
near the shore.
The house has a spectacular view of Bolinas Lagoon and Bolinas Ridge from the large windows in the Great Room
and master bedroom.
The deck makes you feel like you're in a tree house. You can almost reach out and touch the limbs of the giant oaks
that surround the house. The deck is the perfect breakfast spot as well as the ideal local for a beer or glass of
California wine after a stimulating hike or a relaxing soak in the hot tub.

The house is approximately 1700 sq-ft plus a 1000 sq-ft deck and sits on 2 hilly acres of ancient oaks, stone walls, paths, and gardens.
Sleeps up to 7 people (1 king, 2 queens, 1 twin, 1 double futon bed/couch, plus an additional foam mattress if needed). 1 1/2 baths, hot tub w/ outdoor shower, laundry, canoe, and much more!
Rates:
Summer: April 1 - October 31
$900 per weekend (2 nights)
$250 per weekday night (Monday through Thursday)
$1800 per week (7 nights)
Winter: November 1 - March 31
$700 per weekend (2 nights)
$200 per weekday night (Sunday through Thursday)
$1500 per week (7 nights)
plus cleaning fee ($150 for week stay or $100 for weekend stay) + Marin County occupancy tax (10%) + refundable deposit ($500).
