I am renting a 3Bdrm, 2.5Ba house in Cupertino. Currently, it's just me (38yr old male) and my 8 year old daughter. We are looking for a responsible, easy going housemate to share the house with.
The house is a 2-Story house that was originally a 4Bdrm house, but two rooms were combined to make a huge Master Bedroom. This is the room that is available. This room is the size of most studio apartments. It has it's own batroom/shower, and tons of closet space! Cable TV hookup and 2 telephone jacks.
The house is in a very peaceful complex (they're condos/town houses) with a pool. There is a nice patio area as a back yard between the house and the garage. The house stays very cool in the summer as it's surrounded by trees.
Located near the corner of Foothill Blvd. and Stevens Creek, we're on the edge of the Rancho San Antonio County Park. So, there's a mountain/woods feel to the location. Cell phone service is very poor as a consequence. We're about 1~2 miles from De Anza College and 1 mile from the 280/85 intersection.
Rent for this room is $750/mo + utilities. Utilities (PG/E, Water/Garbage) will all be split in thirds. Digital Cable with DVR, high-speed Internet, and VoIP Telephone Service are optional/additional.
Also included: open access to kitchen, laundry, stair-stepper and weight center (all inside house), and TV/living room activities are shared....but that's where my daughter and I do spend 90% of our time when we're home.
